Blue Line Like an Adirondack Sunrise
The Blue Line marks off 6 million acres of mountains, forests, lakes, rivers and meadows. The Adirondack Park, we want to share it with you in this coffee. Picture the sun cresting the Jay Range and pockets of mist filling the hollows in a rolling meadow or the morning light glinting off the rock face at Chapel Pond as brookies roll in the motionless water. Or, how about it’s 20 below outside and you’ve just rolled out of bed to face a whole 7 hours of good day light, and the woodstove is ice cold. You want to get crackin’; wrap your hand around a steaming cup of coffee. Either way you cut it, it’s an Adirondack sunrise inside the Blue Line, a delightfully smooth and full blend.
Hiker’s Delight A Boost to Get There
Of course, there’ll be those days in the North Country when you’ve had it with the solitude and the black flies and with the deer flies buzzing your head like predator drones. And the no-see-ums; let’s not even go there! No, you’re looking for escape, a little virtual time warp. A trip back to the Greenwich Village coffee houses of the ‘50s and ‘60s. Some long-haired freak at the next table spouting off about Wittgenstein, the doe-eyed blonde across the table from you about to take your Queen, Lenny Bruce cuffed and hauled away for the language he just used in his last joke. Hiker or not, this coffee is a true Bohemian roast that will get you to your destination -- real or remembered.
Sunrise on Marcy Gets You Half Way There
Uncle Judd says we got to be dumber than a box of rocks! We gave him a bag of this coffee to try, and he still can’t figure out what was going through our heads when we put “Gets You Half Way There” on the label. “Been climbing that mountain over 40 years,” he says. “5,344 feet. This coffee don’t get me half way there; it gets me to the top.” We tried to explain it’s a blend of half Blue Line, half Hiker’s Delight. Didn’t make a dent. At 86, he still thinks we’re dumber than a box of rocks, and he’s still enjoying Sunrise on Marcy- at the top, or at home in his kitchen- a smooth, light, French roast without the bitter taste.
Midnight Moon Refreshing, Yet Restful
Aaah. It’s 10 o’clock. You’ve just spent the day working getting your wood in for the 200-day North Country winter looming just the other side of Memorial Day; or you’ve been out fooling around all day, having fun with the family, fishing and picnicking. You’re home now, and you’re not quite ready to pull down the shades. Your significant other suggests, now that the kids are asleep the two of you have a little downtime to sit and talk over a cup of coffee and maybe even catch a glimpse of the midnight moon before falling into dreamland. This water-decaffeinated bean will give you all you’re looking for. . .refreshing, yet restful. Everything you want in a cup of coffee, except the caffeine.
